About these numbers

Savings estimates are illustrative. They compare the consumption and current rate you enter against FLUX's currently published Alberta rate card (Fixed 1 year at 6.79¢/kWh for electricity, Fixed 1 year at $3.45/GJ for natural gas). Estimates include the energy charge, FLUX's $0.31/day per-meter admin fee, regulated transmission and distribution charges (≈10.3¢/kWh based on 2025–2026 Calgary bill data), local access fee, rate riders, and 5% GST. Solar comparisons use FLUX SunWise import/export rates against a typical Alberta symmetric solar-credit rate. Your actual bill varies with service area, billing period length, your consumption, the rate you would otherwise have paid, and any existing contract exit fees; distribution and transmission charges are not set by FLUX.
