The advertised rate only covers your term. What happens the day it ends is in the fine print, and that is usually where the cost is. Life gets busy and you will probably forget to renew, so we structured our rates around that.

None of that is in the headline rate. It is in the renewal clause. The term quietly ends and many plans move you onto a new fixed term, often a longer one at a higher rate, counting on you not to read that far.
Forget to renew and nothing bad happens.
We write to you 60 days before your term ends. Secure a new rate if you want one. Do nothing on a fixed electricity or gas plan and you simply continue on our posted variable rate, never a new fixed term. Do nothing on SunWise and you stay on SunWise for another 12 months at the posted solar rates, because a solar home belongs on the solar rate.
